A warm welcome to the 2003 Euro-Cup season from the Windsurfing Office!
We would like to invite you to the first Windsurfing Euro-Cup of this year:
The kick-off event takes place in Porto/Santo/Madeira (Portugal) from Thursday, April 3rd to Sunday, April 6th (competition days) and is equipped with EUR 15.000,00 prize money (net of taxes) that will be distributed according to the General Rules.
Porto Santo is a lovely little island that belongs to the Madeira archipel and is located in the Atlantic Ocean in the west of the coast of Africa and Europe. The climate is mild all over the year and the bay has a perfect white beach so that you can enjoy a convenient starter for the competition season.
The event is organized by Club Overpower (José and Isabel Guimares) who are known for their perfectly organized regattas and the huge efforts they put into the events. For the Windsurfing Euro-Cup in Porto Santo they have arranged a special travel and accommodation deal for the people travelling to the regatta. Porto Santo can be reached easily via Lisbon (Portugal, mainland) or Funchal (Madeira).

Overpower Club is working hard to finish the last details to Euro Cup 2003 opening.
The competition will be held in a beautiful place – Porto Santo Island, with excellent conditions for our sport and for a special tourism in the middle of the nature. Beyond the perfect weather conditions we have selected a good team (judges, measurers, scorers and staff) to assure the full success of this issue.
Also the sponsors have helped us a lot. Sociedade de Desenvolvimento do Porto Santo, Hotel Vila Baleira, Madeira Tourism and Porto Santo City Hall are the supporters of this event.
Overpower Club wishes to share with all windsurfers around the world this “funtastic spot”, that’s why we are inviting you to come to Porto Santo from 2nd to 6th April to the first 2003 Euro-Cup competition.
