After a long wait for the first race, the 2002 Formula Europens kicked off. With shifty gusty wind it made things very chalenging. In the first race Patrice Belbeoch was winning all the way till the last mark and then got passed by Pritchard who went on to win.
The next race picked up and Pritchard had a bad start but made up for it by going to the shore and capitalizing on his top end speed. Pritchard ended up taking race number 2.
The third race saw Prichard leading at the 2nd top mark only to be passed by Voicheck and Gonzalo on the downwind due to user error by Pritchard’s fault. Voicheck in first, Gonzolo in second and Prichard in third.
The next race saw the port start finnaly paying off with Steve allen taking the win with Gonzolo in second followed by Pritchard in third.
Overall I seemed to have good speed. When I was on track with the right part of the course and with no one around me I was going really fast. Used the 11.5 the entire day with no changes from start to finish.
